How to Submit Editorials and Photos to RARE

RARE FASHION MAGAZINE

Submission Guidelines:

Beauty Editorials must show various make-ups | hair looks

Fashion editorial submissions are to be 6 -12 images and a minimum of 4 images per beauty editorial.

We will not publish all images, a maximum of 8 and a minimum of 4 will be chosen depending on layout; unless image(s) is used for a cover story or special feature.

Agency represented models only. Agency credits must accompany team credits when submitting editorial.

A photographer can submit one of each type of editorial for consideration.

Selection criteria are based on current season’s style, originality, creativity & quality.

Submissions are requested to be “exclusive and non-published”.

Please note before you submit that RARE only accept exclusive content. If we learn your editorial is in another magazine, we will cut it from the issue.

The magazine cover is chosen based on a “look” most suited for the representation of the issue.

Submitting your photos for selection:

When submitting for consideration, always submit your images in low-resolution as attachments; include the photographers name and an editorial title. We reserve the right to name | rename your editorial.

Please do not submit high resolution attachments, or zipped files for review unless accepted.

Submissions are sent to Rarefashionmagazine@gmail.com via Dropbox or Wetransfer.com 

Title your editorial upload with the photographers name for easy identification in our Dropbox or Wetransfer.com

Submissions sent after deadline will not be accepted.  Most deadlines are schedule during the end of second week which will be on a Monday

Full hi-resolution images

Single page 8.5″ x 11″ at no less than 300 dpi

Double page 17″ x 11″ at no less than 300 dpi

Team Credits, Modeling Agency Credits – Please double check spelling and descriptions before submitting. This can’t be recalled once sent to print.

Clothing credit contact sheet for reference

Photographer’s mailing address to forward magazine copies.

Once an image is accepted to be published, it grants us the permission to use your work any of our publications, social media sites, marketing pieces, advertisements, and any other mediums or formats used in the creation, circulation, of RARE FASHION Magazine.

Model must be agency represented or credited management 

Image(s) must adhere to the Issue theme:

Image(s) should not contain any watermark/text/graphic overlays.

Image(s) are provided as individual, high-qualify JPEG files and are at least 1200 pixels on its longest side; resolution is set at 72dpi.

Online submissions can take up to 14 business days to be reviewed. Accepted image(s) can take up to 3-6 weeks to appear in our feed.

Magazine Copies

Rare do not provide complimentary copies but will provide a PDF of the selective section page/s of editorial or featured story
